Bar Harbor Pride is bringing a special evening to the Criterion with a community screening of ‘Come See Me in The Good Light’ on March 11, 2026 at 7pm. This powerful documentary follows Colorado Poet Laureate Andrea Gibson as they navigate a terminal cancer diagnosis with honesty, vulnerability, and unmistakable artistry.
Alongside their partner, fellow poet Megan Falley, Gibson prepares for a final performance that transforms grief into connection, and fear into something luminous. It is a story about love, language, and the way art can hold us through the hardest moments. The event is free & open to the public, donations to support the collaboration are welcome. We ask folks to please register for the event.
