Jaws (1975)

A local sheriff (Roy Scheider) , a marine biologist (Richard Dreyfuss) and an old seafarer (Robert Shaw) team up to hunt down a great white shark wrecking havoc in a beach resort.

It may have spawned a number of sequels, but none were able to capture the pure terror and dread of the original. The next time you put so much as a toe in the water, you'll be sure to hear that John Williams theme start to play. (PG | 2hr 4min)
