In celebration of the Criterion's 87th year, a special movie event featuring pre-show live music from Les Sorciers Perdus!
As far as documented records show, “Grand Hotel” was first shown at the Criterion Theatre in Bar Harbor on July 14th, 15th, and 16th, 1932, and – back by popular demand – it was re-screened during the weekend of December 29th, 30th, and 31st, 1932. This makes it easily the biggest hit at the Criterion during its inaugural year! (112 Minutes)
One hour before the film there will be a performance by live jazz quartet Les Sorciers Perdus, performing song hits from 1932 including "Alone Together," "Isn't It Romantic?," "How Deep Is the Ocean?," "April In Paris," "Willow Weep for Me," and many more!
