Marketing Manager

Type of Position: Full Time, Experienced
Required Degree: BA in marketing or related field, or equivalent experience
Salary: $50,000 annually, 3-year contract with paid vacation


The marketing manager manages the day to day marketing activities of the organization and long term marketing strategy for the organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Managing all marketing for the organization and activities within the marketing department

  • Developing a marketing strategy in line with the organization’s objectives

  • Coordinating marketing campaigns and sales activies

  • Overseeing the organization’s marketing budget

  • Oversight of the creation and publication of all marketing material in line with marketing plans

  • Planning and implementing promotional campaigns

  • Overall responsibility for brand management and corporate identity

  • Preparing online and print marketing campaigns in conjunction with graphic design contractor

  • Maintain effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant organization functions are kept informed of marketing objectives

  • Analyzing potential strategic partner relationships for organization marketing

  • Seeking out and executing business sponsorships and various naming rights.

  • Writing and disseminating press releases

  • Seeking out earned media opportunities

  • Managing social media posts (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter) including purchased ads

  • Selling advertisements to local businesses (pre-movie slides, semi-annual Playbill, etc.)

  • Designing and distributing all hard copy and digital marketing material, including posters, newsletters, press releases, email marketing, postcards, and playbills; updating still and video pre-movie ads; managing social media content; maintaining email subscriber lists; performing occasional website text and design updates; and assisting the Box Office Manager with the online event calendar.

Requirements of the Role

  • Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field, or equivalent experience

  • Familiarity with graphic design, specifically with Adobe Creative Cloud

  • Strong analytical and project management skills

  • Confident and dynamic personality

  • Strong creative outlook

  • Background and/or experience in entertainment or events

  • Occasional night and weekend availability
